CaptRyan Think I'm gonna have to wait on that got to get lift , tires , bumpers , and fenders first

jmcd Around $1,200.00 Total cost. Figure 12 to 15 hundred depending on labor, and you will need a programmer.
No matter what gear ratio you choose the costs will be close to the same. The brand you choose can make a little difference in price.
You will need an install kit front and rear also

CaptRyan How much was it to put the 5:38 gears?
07-15-2013 12:54 PM
jmcd I did 5.38s on my 2011 jkur auto w/35s
Best mod by far. Used AEV ProCal

OBWan Anyone consider the AEV procal or is that something different

CaptRyan Good to know I didn't want to change the gears out just yet maybe down the road when I go to 37's

Jared66 I got the diable trinity for my 2011 jkur 6 speed. 4:10s are fine with 35s. Programmer makes a small difference.

CaptRyan Did you change out your gears with the 35's or still running the 4:10

Lil Black JK I have the superchips flashcal for my 2011 sport. I used it to turn off the TPMS and set the tire size after I put on new wheels and tires. The display makes it simple to use.

C-Ron I have a 2011 rubicon with 35s. The bullydog tuner works great and is easy to use. I hear the diablo has more tuning features but I don't know about custom tuning so I didn't go with it. Gains will be about the same with all tuners on the 3.8, don't expect to feel huge gains. I run the premium tune and I think it feels just as fast as when it had the stock wheels. The shifts are so much smoother and engine braking isn't as sudden as it was before. It'll coast a lot better.
