I would probably want something bigger then the 32's to do them but that was what I was told. Some of them you may need a bit more expreriance before you wanna go on them. As for the 101 class. Its expensive to take but less expensive then if you break something due to no experiance off roading. I have owned jeeps for half my life and was thinking about taking it bc I figured if Kyle could teach me one thing that stops me from breaking something or worse rolling over then it is well worth it. In the end I decided not to. My advice for you is to go on ruach's web site and post that your looking for ppl to wheel the green and maybe some blue trais and I'm sure you'll find some ppl to join you. I'm heading up this weekend after I'm outta work hopefully.

If you want, PM me and we can possible set something up to go next weekend. One thing tho and dont take this the wrong way, you purchased a rubi which is the most off road capable vehicals in the world, dont be affraid to scratch her. I had less the 1000 miles on my baby and already dented the front bumper at rausch not to mention all the branches I've drivin through. Your going to rub here and there and hit those beautiful skid plates from time to time but trust me your rubi and you and the wifey will love every second of it. You alrady spent the money for the lockers and edisco so you may as well try them out
Thanks for the info. I'm not offended at all. I just think its time to take her offroad. Also this will add fuel to the modding fire. I don't have another vehicle to go with which will force me to sign up for the 101 course. If you want to roll with a noob I'll appreciate it. If push comes to shove I'll take the course which seems to be worth it.

You know how awful that looks on black paint. I have less than 3k on mine and I'm not ready to F up the paint job just yet.

BTW just so you know. You do have to have another 4X4 to go with unless you can join up with another group when you get there. You cant go solo.
OK thanks. I don't have another vehicle to go with me. I'm closing in on 30k miles on mine. The stock tires are showing wear but are still functional. I am getting closer to lifting but I wanted to know how the stock Jeep performs before I mod. I sent Kyle at RC an email telling him that I'll be rolling solo but I guess for the 101 course that is OK because there will be more than one Jeep in the convoy. It look is like I'll have to wheel on Sunday the 14th. Either way I'm going.

Rausch Creek weekend of 7/13/13

Hi all. After 2 years of ownership I made a concerted effort to take my Rubi off road. I'm heading to Rausch Creek next week. This is going to be my first time in an official off road park and I am excited. I saw on their site that there is a 101 course for beginners like myself which I am considering but I was wondering for those who have been there can I go onto some of the beginner trails without having the guided tour? The reason is that RC is 3 hours away from where I live in NY and the next tour they have available is Sunday. I was hoping for a Saturday run and using Sunday to relax. My wife and I will be overnighting in PA at one of the hotels close by. I didn't want to wheel all day sunday and then take a 3 hour drive back home and slam right into Monday. Any Jeepers going to RC on the 7/13/13?
