|MMichetti||It seems like a constant half limp mode then when the lights come on it goes into a full limp mode and won't rev past 2000ish rpm til I stop and restart it. I've never been on the brakes when it happens, usually happens when I'm on the throttle.|

|MMichetti||Well everything looks intact. First time I had a wheel off of the jeep. The sensor assembly is a little different than what I'm used to seeing on my mustang lol I think I'll let the dealership do any further diagnosing. I'll post any updates as I find out what's wrong.|

|HillbillyJeeper||BTW, sometimes I could turn off the ESP for a bit and it helped. As I recall it was only a temporary help tho..|

|HillbillyJeeper||Mine looked fine when it happened but it was the issue. The computer is looking for that input, its getting it but doesn't match the other 3 wheels, thus it thinks its sliding and doing what it thinks it should to keep you from wrecking.|

|MMichetti||Ahh thank you for the input! I get it pretty buried every weekend. And that could explain the traction control light coming on when everything goes haywire. lol I'll have to check for any visual damage to the sensors|

I had a problem once. I had a wild weekend of wheelin and gothome with no issue. On my way to work Monday I experienced a similar condition. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it. They said it was a broken ABS/ebs sensor. Never had another problem.
If that is what it is your esp thinks its sliding at that speed and shuts you down till the condition is cleard(to it).

|MMichetti||It is bone stock and nothing has been tampered with.. I did take the throttle body off and clean it hoping to fix the issue.. I am sure all connectors were properly reconnected. The frustrating part was when I called the dealership they acted like they couldn't attempt to find the problem if the check engine like or ETC light wont stay on. Haha I was told "we can't be shooting bullets trying to guess what's wrong". I called Chrysler and then gave the dealership a call back and scheduled it for Tuesday the 9th.|

Did you do anything prior to the issue? If so, go over your work again, check every connector tight. Never seen this, but does sound like the TPS (1st guess, MAP 2nd guess, not sure with the JK, but usually one is looked at for idle/low load, other for higher throttle/loads) sensor is junked up/failed/or loose connector.
But yes, take it to the dealer.

'13 Rubicon won't rev/hesitates to shift??
My 2013 10a Rubi only has 5000 miles on it.. It doesn't want to rev 3500-4000 rpm and will not shift unless you back out of the throttle near completely. No codes or lights usually but on occasion the ETC, TCS, and Check Engine light will appear all at once and then it goes into limp mode. If I turn it off and then restart it all lights go away. I put a new airfilter in it and cleaned the throttle body for fun followed by a 15 hour battery disconnect but there was no change. Anyone had similar issues? Only code I have seen is
"P2174- Low Airflow/Restriction Detected Instantaneous Accumulation
- Restricted air inlet
- Open or short circuit condition
- Failed Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor
- Failed Throttle Position (TP) sensor
Help with this"
My airbag light also turns on and off at random but I'm not concerned with that at the moment and I'm sure it's unrelated..
