The fronts RS7331xl are actually the longer 4" shocks.
I ran the same shock w/ 12" swaybar links. Stock brake line but with the drop brackets in the pic.
Never had any issues

I did get new sway bar links; they're longer than the stock ones.
I don't know what you mean by "30XL"
I have 5 1/2" of up travel on the shocks.
My shocks are Rancho RS7000MT (Part number RS7330 and RS7331)

Just saw your question about the shocks and assumed the opposite. Shocks are fine assuming you have the 30xl's

In all seriousness, you should get shocks that somewhat match the lift you're going to get, otherwise as you've seen, the task of holding the axle on to the Jeep will be dependent by other components in the vehicle.
You can opt to get longer brake lines from another kit if you're happy with the lift/droop. Also, did you get new sway bar links with your kit? That may help limit droop in the rear so your springs don't fall out.
As for the breather tube, there is a bracket in the tub that you can pull out which will get your tube more flex - IIRC, this is related to the breather tube and not just the Rubicon e-lockers. It's been awhile since I messed with it though.

They are fine. 26-27" extended is perfect for 2-3" lifts.

My shocks are Rancho 7000s. It appears they are for 4" lifts?

Your kit should have come with either rear brake line relocation brackets or longer flex lines. I would check with RE and see what they say. For the breather you will need a longer hose or extend your current one. I would opt for longer flex brake lines vs the brackets.
You can drive it but just don't go wheeling until you get the above fixed.

Nope you're clear. People are just offering up good suggestions. Do you have the shocks installed yet? If not you should raise up the axle and do those and the rear sway bar before looking at how far it droops
You might also be able to buy a brake like relocation bracket from another company if you want one one day and that would be an easy install. You wouldn't even need to take a tire off

Am I not being clear enough?
The brake lines are unbolted from the frame.
I'm done installing the springs.
My concern is that the brake lines seem to be holding the axle up.
In all actuality the real limiting factor is the breather hose, but that disconnected because it doesn't reach the axle.
My concern is if/when I flex (or take tires off to do work) what keeps the axle from pulling on the brake lines and breather hose and the springs from falling out?

|Dusthol||Unbolt the brake lines at the metal bracket under the body. It will let them have more droop. The shocks are basically the limiting factor. My lift recommended using large hose clamps to hold the springs in place on the axle so they won't drop out when flexing.|

There aren't any brake relocating brackets. Should I just leave them unbolted?
I ended up putting the tires back on before dropping the axle.
I guess the point to my original post was: The axle was going lower than I wanted/expected it to. I don't want it to come down farther because it's pulling on the brake line.

|JSichthus||You are going to want max drop to get the longer springs in there, so simply lower the axle with your floor jack as far as you are comfortable. You can (if you haven't already) unscrew the brake line brackets from the frame mount to give extra play. Once the springs are in, install the new shocks and reconnect the brake line brackets. Bolt up, tires on, drive to alignment shop.|

Installing Lift - Can't lower rear axle
I just got done installing the rear part of my 2.5" Rubicon Express Suspension lift. I went to lower the jack holding the axle up, and the axle just kept coming down.
The only thing keeping the axle from going down any further were the brake lines. The springs are loose, and the breather hose doesn't reach.
Everything is connected (End links, Track bar, shocks)
What the hell?
