kjeeper10 Trim the pitch seem. You have a 4 door. The 2 door will suffer more with the wheel base being sucked in.

For control arms you would need both uppers and lowers. Lowers only will push the tire back, but rotate the pinion down. The driveshaft won't like that too much.
Lowers=wheelbase, uppers=pinion angle.

jeffbab I just noticed that too. The rear tires look like they are sitting too far forward in the wheel well. When you mention rear lowers, is that what would be needed to fix that? I had a company install it for me as I don't really know anything about suspension and didn't want to screw things up. I've installed everything else on the jeep but didn't want to take any chances with that.

As far as I know the stock tow package will work fine with the orfab bumper.

landi jeep nice. I like that rear bumper, is it compatible with stock hitch?

Time for some rear lowers.

NYJETS Looks good. Is it just me or do the tires look like they need to be spaced so they sit in the middle of the fenders?... Did you adjust the geometry?
Nice lookin ride....

Chris M Looks good.

On an unrelated note, I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who pulls the front doors but leaves the back in place. I don't have anywhere to put the back doors in the garage.

Very nice!

You should have plenty of time to save up. I got 60K+ miles out of 305's and 315's I had on my last two full size Chevy's.

jeffbab Sorry for the delay. Lift seems great so far but of course I would say that having only driven it for 45 minutes. They had it set for 5 on every shock, so I changed it to 3 on the front and 4 on the back as that seems to be the general consensus on the best ride for a daily driver.

Interestingly enough, before the lift I had a 4 inch gap between the tire and fender at the front and a 5 inch gap at the back. After lift I have an 8 1/2 inch gap at front and 8 inch gap at the rear. I'm assuming the front will settle a bit after I drive it a while with the weight of the rampage bumper and winch on there.

Rancho 3 inch trail lift before and after

Sorry, only have the before pictures right now. Rancho 3 inch trail lift with 9000XL shocks is being installed today so I will have after pics tomorrow.

It's a 2013 JKU in Commando Green. Current mods are 285/70/17 BFG ATs on XD Addict wheels, Cobra 19DXIII CB, Rampage hi-lift mount and Hi-Lift Extreme jack, replaced stock plastic running boards with Rubi and Ace sliders, Rampage front bumper with Superwinch Tiger Shark 9500 lb winch, ORFab Rear bumper, Smittybilt mag light and fire extinguisher mounts, Smittybilt taillight guards, 2 sets of KC slimlights 130 watt spotlights, bestop tube doors and Rampage rear view mirrors.

Hoping to go with 35 inch Duratracs after these BFGs wear down.
