|Neral22||There should be two main power cords to the amp. They will be the lower gauge ones(the thickest wires) one is most likely red, the other black. The red is to the + the black is the ground. The black one needs to be tightly fastened into the amp and going to a screw into your tub. Make sure the paint is removed from where the screw and washer touch the tub (bare metal). This is the ground. It has happened to me before with the intermittent on and off. Also ensure the red wire is screwed into the amp as well. Good luck|

Subwoofer cuts out
Awhile ago my sub in my 06 wrangler started cutting in and out. Now it's pretty much out. I pulled it out and it didn't look or sound blown. It worked for a while after i put it back in, then cut out again. When it works, it sounds good, but its not often. Someone suggested the ground, but I don't know where to look in that mass of wires. Any thoughts are appreciated!
