87 Florida YJ I have an 87 (with an 8 as the sixth digit) which I thought was a 'base' model. After reading this thread I decided to check around. This site had the answer. Home : Free VIN Decoder - Vehicle Identification Number Check. Go know that I have been driving a 'sport' all this time lol

Xpress A lot of times a trip to the dealership can give you the info, particularly the parts department.

It was a answer to this question. Yes they did have specific trim models. You'll just have to keep searching. Do you know anyone with access to Alldata? Very thorough VIN identification capabilities. I believe the Autozone website has that feature also and all the info is pulled from Alldata.
