Carlsbad0331 This evening... I live in San Diego where it stops raining in about the second week of May and doesnt rain again until Septemberish... Well, it decided to rain this evening and I was too lazy to go out and pull the top up. I have a bikini top on the front and a CRES in the back (not much help). But at least the bikini top covers the Tuffy overhead with stereo...

Jrgarcia715 I'm up here in college at byu Idaho and I'm from SoCal so I'm not used to random weather so when I got up here it was averaging about 75 and this was end of may so I took the top and doors off and all of the sudden it snowed for like two days at the beginning of may and so I put the top back on and it got hot again so I took the top off again and literally two days later while I was in work I look outside and see it putting rain I was like shoot I can't catch a break

I have a YJ and I have never had any electrical problem caused by rain. I do take the faceplate of my radio off or cover it up with the case that came with the radio to protect it. My CB gets soaked but it always works fine.

DMD72 Caught about a week ago when an unexpected thunderstorm came up on the drive home from work. Soaked the interior real good. I expected this would happen at some point since I like to go topless and naked as much as possible. Will most likely happen again... It's a jeep.

sonofabeach I've been caught many times without my doors and windows but the top is always there so I just throw it up if it pours. I just throw on the defrost to help dry the mist from the inside of the window and I also carry a towel to wipe the dash down too. Gotta love it!

brokeagin The list is long but distinguished. I have been caught with my top down too many times to count. I just leave the drain plugs out and a couple of garbage bags to cover my seat with for the drive home..

DF Jeep Wife had Jeep at work no doors top down. Unexpected thunder storm that took out trees and power hit. She tried to get top up but was unsuccessful. Enough rain to fill the cup holders, jack storage and top roll out the foot wells when turning. She got home to no power so she and my son started bailing the water. Son was using a turkey baster to empty all the pocket storage places and cup holders. Should of seen the looks on there faces when I showed up, ripped up the rugs and pulled the plugs.

Teague242 Lol. I don't care how hot or cold it it. If its not raining, then I'm topless.

2 weeks ago I drove to New Jersey. Got stuck in traffic for an hour. The temp was over 95 degrees, and neither me or the girl I was with was complaining. She had a sweatshirt on too.... To keep the sun off....

Try trudging through a corn field when corn is 8ft tall, pollinating, cutting you up, and the weather is 100+ outside with 100% humidity between the rows. That's pure hell. I didn't buy the jeep to be a slave to the weather, just me

A couple months ago I went to the gym and it was a little cloudy but nothing crazy. I got to the gym and about half way through the skies opened up and it started raining like something out of a movie. It rained straight down, sideways, even seemed to rain upside down a little. Got a shower on the way home. At least it was warm out and most of my drive was on the highway. I'm sure people had a chuckle watching me drive home in a downpour with no top and in gym shorts but hey, I was in a Jeep

That reminds me, I need to find a safari top for the Jeep.
Safari top + deckcover and some waterproofing spray for the roll bar pads is all I run all year around.
