Woulda been a lot cheaper to get something that suited your needs in the first place...

I agree with the shop. Go ahead and sell the rubicon and find a stock X model that is better suited to your needs.

callbob Why did you buy it if it didn't fit your needs? Not ragging on you, just read these kind of threads all the time about buying something built way past their comfort level.

MosesTJ I would say keep everything and try some better shocks to make the ride smoother. Maybe OME or something.its not called Rough Country for nothing.

bobthetj03 Sell the springs, shocks, wheels/tires, and get you some shorter springs/shocks. Get some 15X8 wheels and 33" tires. Everything else can be dialed in. Find out your gear ratio. Hope you got a good deal on it!

bobthetj03 You may have a can of worms there. Chances are the factory control arm mounts have been cut off in liew of the long arm setup. Doesn't mean you couldn't keep the long arm and just get some shorter springs/shocks and drop tire size down to say 33's. You'll want to check your gearing to see what gear ratio the differentials have been changed to if any. You may also need new drive shafts with that tall of a lift.

LilYeller want to trade? lol A 6" long arm lift is quite a big upgrade. and going down from that isnt going to be cheap. Im sure someone else can post up a list of all the things you will need to change, its going to be a long list.

Lift question - noob
