adamjgb Love what you did to your Stormtrooper. Amazing transformation. I have a white JK and you gave me a lot of ideas. Mine has the chrome package, which I know is not what most Jeep people like, but I like it. Thanks for sharing!

Big Fran I'm happy with mine.

I did go out and get my Stormtrooper a little brother. It's a fun toy for now. 1997 TJ with the 2.5 engine and a 5 speed. I have a stock dana 44 rear out of a 2004 Rubicon and an Aussie locker for the front to put in yet. I'm also putting on MCE flat front fenders and removing the rear flares. I'm going to paint the TJ flat OD green just like I painted the wheels. I put in 2.5" springs and new shocks.

yeah I'm not seeing "stormtrooper" in that rig at all. The pink on the tires doesn't help.

TJammer [QUOTE=STEALTHICON;6828801]LMAO. Translation; I don't mean to make your jeep look inferior to mine, but I will put pics of it up on your thread, because their very presence immensely improves the content here. I will wish you good luck now in hope that you don't think I am a total %^&*$*.[/QUOTE

Big Fran I found this pic on Quadratec's Facebook page. I was at Quadratec for a meet and greet they had. I thought the pic was cool.

Woodsmann I agree about the stickers. They would have to pay me to advertise for them. Or give me a discount.
08-19-2013 12:59 PM
Megawatt308 I can appreciate the hard work and love you have for the stormtooper. I would only put cool looking stickers on my rig or a sticker from someone that sponsored me and gave me free products. Discount tires direct sticker, nope not for me.

I do like your build, keep going.

Agreed. Jeep looks sick, but the stickers make you read more than admire your work. My $.02

Black13 looking good!

Big Fran Good idea. Maybe next set I'll try that way. I get tired of the decals fast so I like to change them up when I have time. Would love to come up with a graphic I could cover the entire side with. The Vinyl cutting plotter makes it easy. If I can draw it I can cut it. I can cut up to 24"tall letters or graphics as long as needed in one piece or tile it and cut taller. Vinyl is cheep so once you buy a roll you could redo the Jeep over and over.

Lowerumble Ok I am too dumb to find a pic. But basically black along the rockers and lower door edge...

Big Fran Update...

This past week I installed AEV drop brackets and re-decaled the side of the Jeep...

Big Fran LOL, I still have the 5 stock rims, tires, TPMS, and the 5 33" Duratrac's on Level 8 Trackers with TPMS sitting in the shed. I know I'm not going to 37's for a long, long, long time if ever. So far the only offroading I've done is the pot hole in the driveway at work. I think I'll get by with my 35's.
08-02-2013 06:16 PM
DallasJKU Looks awesome, but needs 37's with the flatties. I think my 35's look small and I don't have the flat fenders.

Big Fran Thanks Guy's.

Soylent Green is a great name for a Gecko color Jeep. I remember that movie.

Jeez, now they are going to be fighting over who is the true Stormtrooper, lol!

County98 Yup. Looks great!

Big Fran OK, No rain today so I got some pics of the hood blackout decal installed.

07-31-2013 08:31 PM
Big Fran I did the hood blackout decal today. If any of you are thinking of doing this...find a friend to help ya out. I did it by myself (due to lack of friends) and I would not try that again. It would be MUCH easer with 2 people. Thank goodness it turned out great. I'll post up pics tomorrow. Did not have my cam with me today.

Thanks, I'm leaving it there all the time. I put the Hi-Lift cover on it. It is bolted down with lock nuts. I hope no one will take the time to unbolt it. I don't see any way of locking it on the TeraFlex mount.

Big Fran Got the new wheel and tire mounted on the back today. I also mounted my CB antenna and Hi-Lift jack. Maybe tomorrow I'll get the AEV correction brackets on?
