Just the website OP linked to! I figured $50 total for two sets was one of the cheapest mods around and this way I could see which I liked better in person or even do a combination of the two, etc. I am HORRIBLE with decisions though, I'd rather spend a little more than be forced to make a tough choice. I'm like that at restaurants too

NYjeeper_TJ Thinking of doing this my self to my 02. Can you change all the lights in the dash as in. Seat belt light. Brake light. To match the rest of the blue?

flowerfistandbestialwail HA - nevermind. Had this page subbed so long I clearly skipped reading the top of this very page. Sorry folks, didn't mean to be ~that~ person

flowerfistandbestialwail Sorry if this has been asked already - anyone know which light specifically I need for behind my automatic shifter? It's a real dull orange and I want to swap that out while I'm at it.

Mine do quite a bit, but I have a mix of LED and stock. Some posts indicate 100% LED may not dim as much. Don't know how true that is.....

Mines a 2006.

Mine do slightly, but not a very noticeable difference.

Neil F. Did you use the high power multi led bulbs? From other posts, the single led bulbs will not illuminate evenly.

Amber LED

I did amber LEDs and my gas gadge and temp aren't as bright. Any ideas?

Neil F. I've only had one bulb go out in the 3 years or so I've had them. You obviously have a loose connection in the lighting circuit not the bulbs
08-06-2014 01:06 AM
King_Aragon I did this about a year ago. What's the lifespan on these bulbs? Every time I hit a bump my lights on the dash flicker then I hit the dash and they work. Suggestions? What should I do? Replace them all?

Awesome! Did not take long at all! Maybe hour and a half and that was including coffee and breaks lol. Had to reverse one in the climate control and it came right on. Pics dont do it justice, and for those that worry about color consistency I threw in the comment on the website when ordering to make sure they were, looks the same in person. Went through Superbrightleds.com. Camera makes it look a lil off but its not. Can still see the needles just fine too. They still dim slightly when turning them down but I like 'em all the way up.

WWJeepDaddy I just finished pulling the instrument cluster and replacing one bulb. It's not hard but I'll try to explain if I can remember.

1. Remove two screws on the side plastic piece and then there are two clips that hold it on
2. Remove two screws on the front piece of plastic under the steering wheel. and remove that piece
3. Remove two screws at the bottom of the cluster
4. Remove the long piece of plastic that runs the whole length of the dash along the windshield - it is just snapped in place with about three snaps
5 Remove three more screws along the top of the cluster that were hidden by that long piece you just removed
6 Look for a few more screws holding the cluster in but I think I remember all of them.
7 Now pull the cluster forward and unplug 2 sets of wires that are plugged into the cluster and your done. Replace in reverse order.
