Y-Guy Roadmaster makes the Falcon 2 tow bar so my guess is they sent you the matching baseplate. Both Roadmaster and Blue Ox are solid companies, many of them are interchangeable. Sounds like you got a good setup!

JK Coaster I believe the baseplates are not interchangeable. I believe the Roadmaster Falcon only hooks up to Roadmaster brackets. Blue Ox only hooks up to Blue Ox.

I would call one or the others tech support to ask about compatibility of brackets/adaptors. Or call your local Campingworld install department and they could proabaly help.

As far as which is best, they both have followings, both are very popular.

Roadmaster vs Blue Ox baseplates

Which has the better base plates? I ordered a Falcon 2 tow bar and a Blue Ox base plate. The company sent the correct tow bar and a Roadmaster base plate. Is one easier to install that the other?

Thanks, Leo
