For those particular bolts, which are held in place by permanent form of Locktite which requires heat to release, you'd likely be a frustrated guy after trying either tool for even an extended period of time. Heat applied through the bolt as described above so the Locktite will release its grip is the best way of getting those bolts out. Once the Locktite has been heated sufficiently, even a small 3/8" ratchet wrench will then easily remove the bolts.
Trying to bust those particular bolts loose with nothing more than force is just not the right way to do it, bolts held in with that form of Locktite should be heated first. Using nothing but an impact tool is like trying to open a lock with a BFH instead of a key. Sure it'll work given time & enough force but the BFH is more likely to damage something when a simple key could be used instead without extra work, the chance of collateral damage, or stripping the bolt head out.

Well I got them all mounted up and working! I didn't have to heat the bolts up, the impact wrench did just fine. I had one bolt that we had to drill out but it was already stripped before I started. We could get the stud out though :/ but all in all I am very pleased with everything. I got them through Chris at truck add ons he has a thread on here selling the LEDs CHEAP. And I highly recommend them. They have great customer service and a very good product.
The only problem I have is when they are on my radio is all staticky and stuff.. Is there any way to fix that?

|MosesTJ||There is no trigger. You just hold the tool on the bolt with appropriate head and hit it with a hammer. It barely spins and the torque loosens the bolt. It's manual not pnuematic.|

Those bolts are held in by Locktite & the odds are VERY high you'll just strip the bolt head's torx opening if you try to bust it loose with an impact wrench.
The only sure-fire way to get those bolts out is to get them hot enough to melt/release the Locktite on the bolt threads. One way to do that is to insert just the torx bit into the bolt & heat the bit with a torch so the heat travels into the bolt & releases the Locktite... which is my preferred method.
I gave up using an impact wrench on those particular bolts years ago due to the bolt heads stripping, and the fact my torx-bit snapped once & the broken bit then danced across the door's paint during the split second it took me to release the impact wrench's trigger.

Worked like a charm

|Marcwakefield22||So I'm basically just gonna have to drill them out regardless?|

I think most end up with a broken bolt and an easy out set that pisses them off until they just drill it out.
You can try to set the bit in the TORX and hit it a couple times with a hammer to try to free the threads as I'm pretty sure there is locktight on them from the factory.

I got some off road lights to mount on the side of my windshield but I went to take the brackets off to put the new ones on to mount the lights and one or two of the bolts are almost stripped and I tried getting the other ones off and they are torqued on so tight not even a drill will get them off. How am I supposed to get them off??
