TOK Do you immediately let off the gas when you feel this?

The vehicles I've been in with a slipping automatic trans will "thunk" when they catch if you stay on the gas. I realize this is something you're going to have to consciously do, because its basically muscle memory to let off the gas when revs go up unexpectedly.

Lusus_Naturae Sounds a bit like tires spinning on slick or dusty road surfaces, or worn tires. My wife's car does this at lights a lot, the paint thy use for striping the lines gets slick here or dusty, and she will spin her tires when pulling away from a light.

Transmission

I have 16000 miles on my 2012 JK, about 4000 miles back, I noticed when I accelerate at a light like the rear tires are slipping on something on the road, however I have checked and there is nothing on the road and happens on occasion. Gone to dealer several times, but of course it never happens when they check. Sounds to me like a Transmission problem, any suggestion ?
