Nothing but a jeep thing Has anybody cut their front flares and eliminate the side markers???

thgr8alex I didnt use a primer i just made sure i did a good job sanding them uniformly and got krylon fusion spray paint and put about 2-3 coats on them.

mikemounlio Its just a custom snorkle. I used a pre cleaner that goes to the stock air box. It was alot of custom trimming and sealing. Its a big pain really. But it works. Yes all tubes run up to the box and are sealed (but thats it).

More for looks as i still have yet to go in water deep enough to enter the doors. I have been in water that was about 1/4 inch away from entering the door.

mikemounlio I used the door trim but after the front trim being pulled off by small tree branches i just said forget it. I cleaned up my cut and used a sharpie on it. Looks factory now.

mikemounlio Just remount the stock blinkers to the plastic on the inside of the fenders.


I just drilled a few holes and went zip tie happy. Ok i used 2 zip tires. I did have to trim the plastic a bit to get the light to sit at the angle i wanted. Just be creative with it.

The door edge trim worked great on the rear fender flares

TripleNickle Do the same with the fronts like he said lol! That's what I did before I got cloaks. Then I used door edge trim to make the finish look better.

gbendezu cut the fronts to match, many ppl have done so and i'll be doing it too. start on an angle so that its in this \ |__|O | | | | O|__|/
