|AllMudd||I hunk for the money you would spend on the 4cyl you can do a swap. And for the AX15. Find a Dakota that came with the 2.5l and steal the bellhousing cause it came with the AX15. Do a search here for AX15 swap there are a bunch of write ups about the swap.|

Engine upgrade. This or that.
Hi there i havent posted in several months. I own a 93 yj with a 2.5 litre four banger and i want more power. I was considering going down two routes to achieve this
1. Stroke and supercharge my four. I dont know what this will run me but i have a used water pump with a pully wheel from a big rig that i was thinking about using as a supercharger.
2. Upgrade to an i6 engine. I know that i will have to move the engine mounts and find an exact wiring harness to replace my old one.
3. I will be upgrading to an AX-15 transmission either case. Is an adapter required from novak to fit this transmission to an i4?
4. This all will be based on cost. So the less expensive route the better.
