|Calys003||I cut out of work early to go pick up my bumper from LoD today, It was a nice day for a 2hr+ drive. The welds are amazing and the quality is top notch. The guys over at LoD really do great work!! Off to powder coat tomorrow, hopefully I'll get it back fast.|

|wrangledangle||Has anyone had a LOD armor lite bumper for awhile? I want one, I'm just curious how they have been holding up!|

Living in Arizona, especially in the summer, air flow is a big concern.
I wanted the least blockage and I really like the F4 lines.
I have to mount up the spare carrier, it just got coated.

Pavement Ends bump is finally on. No plans for a winch on the first mods go-around, but it can take a plate if I get loopy sooner than expected.
Only 40 lbs !

I am not going to worry about totaling this jeep if I hit a deer. I hit a huge 6' point buck last November and totaled my Saturn and I was fortunate that I wasn't hurt any worse other than a really sore back but the impact going 70mph sheered off the entire right side of my Saturn. Well that is NOT going to happen with this bumper on my jeep!

Finally got my JCR Vanguard Bumper and skid plate installed along with my Warn VR10000 winch. I love the set up!

And now that the bumper is on, its solid, has the skid plate incorporated and bolted into the bottom frame member.
I want these!
They use the factory fog lamps (so my LED Cree bulbs won't go to waste).

Either way, I dropped back and punted, I liked the Smittybilt XRC MOD, and while it was more expensive (almost double the price all in) its on and looks great.
Let me give you some more info on how they packed it. The center section comes in a box with foam blocks on each end, and one in the middle to prevent moving. They cover the ends of the bumper with this 1/4" thick foam and overwrap it with plastic. Well wrapped, well packaged and it was truck shipped, so UPS didn't get their dam hands on it. The bull bar, which they know dam well will slide and pop th end of the box, had a rubber bead around the mounting plate to protect it, and they over wrapped that with plastic.
I know other people said NO to Smittybilt, and I had to fight with some of the bolts, but its on, it looks great and once I sell some more stuff on eBay, I can buy the ends with fog lamps. Anybody need a bumper?
I also did the winch at the same time, Smitty recommends installing the winch before the bumper, and let me say, its not light!!!
I pulled the grille and the air box to route the power cables to the battery. I drilled two holes in the tray that holds the air box to put in a wire tie to hold the cables. Every thing works, looks good and now I want the ends.
