erickpl I've heard the JK plugs fit the oval plugs in back too, but not tried it myself.

Since I run w/o doors most of the spring, summer, and fall, I may finally do this too. I have some extra bedliner to patch up when I take the oval plugs out, so it may be a good time to do it.

gbendezu buy oval rubber plugs online, make sure you paint around and on the edge with POR15 or some rust preventer. and that's should be it

gregsjeep13 Seems like the oval ones were made to drain? But if they were meant to come out why did they seal it? The round one comes right out like it was made for drainage but the round plug is a little higher than the oval one which doesn't make sense. I would pull the oval one but at some point I might want to put it back in and not sure if I pry the existing oval plug out that I can replace it.

Drain plugs '97 Sport

Got caught yesterday at lunch. Coworkers were playing the "lift your feet" game between starts and stops. When we got back, I went to pull drain plugs but only saw the 2 round stoppers in the front floor boards. Are those the only 2? What about the oval things both in the front floor board and the back? Are they plugs and how do you get them out if they are? It just didn't seem like the round holes were really cutting it and I ended up sopping up the majority of the water with a towel.
