My neighbors 2DR sport has 12 front, 55 rear. My 2DR Rubicon has 14 front, 57 rear.
It seem like the assembly line just grabs whatever their is a abundance of, so you really don't know what number springs you have until you look at the numbers on your.

Mine came with the dual tops. I don' think there is any rhyme or reason for the spring rates. Even people with the exact same builds have seen different rates.
My install was done with the soft top on.

|michiganadam||I would have thought a sahara would have heavier springs due to all the power windows crap and other heavy crap. Hardtop or soft top on both of those?|

Had 13/55 on my Sahara. Got a deal on a Rubi stock set of shocks and 19/59 springs that were 7 days old (owner put in a new lift). Spent a Saturday installing and I got an increase of 1.75" up front and 1.5" in the back.
Rides much better and less brake dive and less corner roll. Overall a cheap little lift and better handling. Well worth the small investment financially and the knowledge of doing the install myself.

Springs depend on all sorts of factory options. Hardtop gets stiffer rears for example. A rubi wont have stiffer springs just because its a rubi. But a 10a with those heavy bumpers?
I imagine the 4 door probably does have stiffer rear springs.
Honestly i wouldnt bother with any of this. If its factory available then i wont put it on my jeep. Rubi shocks are nice but dont have any more travel.
Id get a 2.5 inch lift over those springs. Thats a size that wont normally cause a lot of problems. One thing i dont like though is 2.5 inch lifts with stock shocks......

|Binx||Ride quality improves substantially. Way less brake dive and body roll. Handles the washboard crap better on road. I paid about 140 for shocks and springs and got about 1.5-2.0'' all around. Rides and looks way better.|

|Wunder||Im gonna be doing that swap in the near future, and the jk Rubicon sport was born. How is your ride quality after the swap?|

I just did the 4 door rubi swap yesterday. My stock rates were 14/55, the 4 door rates were 18/59. Here's a linky-poo for pics: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/18-...-a-157473.html
I'm very happy with the new stance and ride

Something like 14-19 for the fronts and 52-60 for the back

|JeepJames||I just got a 2012 Sahara with Freedom top. I went to remove hard top and the #40 tort tool is not in the jeep, salesman is telling me it doesn't come with jeep, I had one in the past with another hard top, jeep supplied, I have a hard time believing jeep doesn't include this tool. I found an empty package in console says please leave in jeep for customer use, am I right or wrong here?|

I have a 2010 JK Sport. That probably doesn't tell much does it.

|daggo66||Dang Mike, you type fast!|
|05-02-2012 10:13 AM|
|daggo66||The springs may or may not be different, you need to compare part numbers. The shocks are an upgrade. The track bar is exactly the same as what you have.|
|05-02-2012 10:12 AM|
This gets asked all . . . the . . . time . . .
Everything will fit. However . . .
Forget about the trackbar. It's the same as what you have now.
The shocks will be an improvement.
The coils are probably stiffer than what you have, but you need to look at the numbers on the donors and your current ones to know. See here: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/con...wap-55849.html

4 door Rubi suspension on a 2 door sport
I am looking to upgrade my stock 2 door JK sports suspension to that of a 4 door Rubicon. Will the Rubi suspension fit onto my rig and is it worth the grade in your opinion? Does anyone know how much height I will gain from the suspension swap.
The items I plan to replace with Rubi parts are the springs, shocks and rear track bar. I look forward to your opinions.
