sparky Spitballing on this.
They might be the stiffineers for the sail panels.

This is the original factory soft top from 2004. i assumed these pieces were a part of the soft top but i could be wrong.

I bought the Jeep Sunday and got full doors, half doors, soft uppers, one slider upper, and hardtop. The hardtop was on it when i brought it home and was the first thing to come off. Maybe it's from somewhere else on the rig and has nothing to do with the soft top? I have two and they look like mirror images which makes me think, one on each side. They are also pretty thin so they must be used inside the vehicle. That's all I have to go on. my last resort is to cal the PO and ask him.

fireball24 The soft top is original equipment from Jeep. Could these things be drip edges over the doors? Still at a loss...Anyone?

gbendezu are those screws on the top? pics would be great to be able to help you out better. I think youre talking about the soft top door surround. these is so you need these "screws" you NEED these they help with the soft top side windows

extra parts?

Today is the third day with my Jeep and I was able to get on the soft top. I was pretty proud of myself since I had no idea what I was doing...BUT I can't figure out what these two pieces of plastic are for. They look like some sort of arm rest but I can't figure out how they would go on the half doors. The plastic screws in them don't seem to line up with any holes and I'm at a loss. They are black plastic about 18 inches long and have a 90 degree bend with two plastic screws that should go into something. The screws are about 7 inches apart. Does anyone have an idea?

thanks
