|ronster||I am 5'7. I weigh 254. I am 60 years old and I have a 4" lift on my yj.....my personnal opinion is at your height, any jeep you buy may need to have the seat remounted to seat you comfortably. It is also very important that when you are off-roading, you have your seat adjusted so you do not flop around. my rule of thumb: feet should touch floorboard flat, seat should be almost staight up...happy days|

|mbindel||I am 5'9 and I don't have the seat slider so it can be a pain, but I love my jeep|

|blade4804||I am 6'7 and close to over 400lbs in a TJ. I fit ok, but on long drives it feels like the room gets less or I shift weird in my seat. I read about some misch brackets to push my seat back 4" so can't wait to get that. Other then that it runs great|

|Tom62||At 6'6 280lb, even with a bum knee room is good but then I used to drive a vw!|

|livenlearn||I'm 5' 8" or so. I don't have much of a problem getting in but there is a technique. Jeep has a 3 or 4 inch lift and 32's. Now when driving it, I can't really say because so far the seat was the wrong seat and then it was just sitting in there, not bolted down or anything. Once I get it all back together I can see how it fits me.|

|dangle||I'm 6'8" and fit reasonably well in my 2012 jk. Seat is all the way back and reclined a little bit too much for your average Joe. No adult could ride behind me. Hit my head on the speaker bar occasionally. Knees don't have much room to move around. I drive it daily, and it's not so bad. Don't remember my old yj giving me any problems but the was 12 yeas ago.|

|vikingshadow||I'm the shortie I guess. 5'5" and I have to CLIMB into my drivers seat, sorta of. Well, kind of a grab the steering wheel, lift my right butt cheek onto the seat, put my right foot in the tub and then sort of roollll and slllliidddeee into position.|

I am 6ft and fit perfect until I installed my new Best Top seats, now its a little close.
my Y J has the 4.0 with 152 thousand and couldn't run any better.

|OregonPlinker||Im 5'10" and fit fine. My brother in law is 6'5" and that was the first thing he said when he got in the jeep was "wow I fit really well in this little thing"... I have to open the sun roof on my GTI so he can sit up straight.lol|
|07-19-2013 11:16 PM|
|Simpleman2||Iam 6'5" and test drove a JK (2013 Sport Unlmtd), hope I got the acronym correct today. Fit was OK, but only sat in drivers seat for 15 mntea with salesman charting my ear off. Still debating on the purchase and fit, but looking forward to joining the culture and hobby. Need a couple more test drives. Anyone else at least 6'4" and drive a Wrangler daily????|

6'3" with a 1990 YJ. Older YJs have a lot of seat sag so I feel like I'm a bit too far away from the windshield. Plenty of head clearance. My wheeling buddy is 6'6" and sometimes whacks his head on the soundbar so I'm going to try flipping that around to the backside of the cage to relieve that.
You'll be great with a YJ. Very comfortable. I have 6" of lift and have little trouble getting in and out. My 5'2" mother in law is another story, lol... She fell out.
As far as motors the i6s are great motors. My 4.2 has over 200k miles on it and while it could use a rebuild it doesn't need it yet. I'm hoping to get it to 225k although I'm ready to rebuild it anytime. I really don't know anything about the 4cyl. Sorry!

|Jrgarcia715||I'm 6'0" I fit great but my seats are not the stock ones I had to custom do install them got them from the junk yard so I can't really speculate in stock seats. Also I have a 4" lift with 33s|
|07-18-2013 06:30 PM|
I'm 6'-1" and I fit OK until I put racing seats in. Had to totally modify the fold forward seat riser so the front links were shorter. While making everything fit me just right, I moved the seat mounts back a few inches along the floor. I used big fender washers to keep from ripping the bolts through the floor.
I have also heard about riser that are available to move the seat back. I think they are called "Big Boy" risers.

|banks316||Im short Im 5'5 and I do got issues getting in my Jeep. But I got a routine down now. FYI 7.5" lift with 37's is really tall.|
