Verf Oh, thanks much! Didn't think about the photobucket thing... But digging up the acronym page is. Huge help for me. Really appreciate the fast help!

JDsDream I have just added this and stickied it in the new member section. Hope it helps.

JDsDream This happens in a couple of different ways but unfortunately we (the staff) have no control over it.

Once a member reaches their attachment limit, they will sometimes go in and delete some of their older ones to free up more space, as Bob mentioned above.

Another and more common reason is using a photo sharing site like photobucket or flicker to upload attachments. Once the member removes that pic from the sharing site, the picture will disappear from here as well.

Verf I'm a not too old, but not too young either, so will apologize for not knowing how to doing this all at one go. Anyhow, heres one example:

and another which I think would be handy:

another:

And again, for someone new, a sticky with definitions for acronyms would be great. MMLs? BL? BB? TT? Lol, for someone new to Jeeps, its can be tough to catch the lingo and when you Google it, of course there are many things that come up. I know for my 3000GT/Stealth, they have the most common turbo/performance lingo in a sticky in alphabetical order for folks to use as a guide.

tabber02 hi butch, can you point me to the sticky or stickies you're referring to? if the good stuff is gone -- happens sometimes (members have to free up photo storage space) then the value of the sticky might be done...

or might not, if we can update it.

FAQs & Stickys

In my search for answers to my many questions, I noted many faqs and stickys were made by members, which is great. But at some point they removed the pics, not so great. So many of the faqs are 'broken'. Didn't know if maybe once something become good enough to sticky or make a FAQ, the site takes it over so pics aren't lost.

I found it by accident looking for a sticky or faq for definitions/acronyms for all things Jeep. Is there one and I'm over looking it? Love the forum! By far, the friendliest bunch of folks I've ever come across, and I def appreciate it.

Butch
