Gregbr Installed aev bumper, tire carrier and fuel carrier on mine replacing stock bumper. Tow hook needs to come off but i didn't need to remove the factory hitch. Quite a few fitting steps before the final mounting so took me a whole day to get it done. I was also wiring in a back up camera and cb antenna cable at the same time so i had the Jeep in pieces front to back at one point.

jwilson2598 I installed an AEV on mine and the hitch does. It need to be removed. I did the whole thing start to finish in less than 2 hours by myself, super easy.

AEV/MW3 rear bumper install

Has anyone else picked up an MW3/AEV rear bumper take-off and install onto a 2012? Wondering if tow hook and trailer hitch need to be removed when installing.
