3.6L Oil Pressure

I was curious about the oil pressure range on the 3.6L motor and found the following:

Before reaching operating temps .. Approx 195 degrees:

80-90 psi at idle.. upward to ~2500 rpm

After reaching coolant temps of 195 degrees:

30 psi at idle... 40 psi at 2000 rpm

My big 562 Hemi had a hi-flow pump and would idle at 80 psi before reaching operating temperature then would drop to 60 psi. I was surprised to see the 3.6 with this much oil pressure before reaching operating temps.

Be assured you're getting good pressure at start up... stone cold and when slightly warm.
