|LMT Rubi||Thank you everyone! You have given me some great ideas. Thank you once again|

Take a road trip to Indianapolis for the Brickyard 400 and I'm pretty sure I know a guy that'll Vinyl wrap for well under $2k here in town.
The again, seems you could find similar out in Cali. I remember reading about a guy that Wrapped his CJ7 just because he could get it done for a few hundred bucks and could re-wrap several times for the cost of a decent paint job.
Find a shop that wraps, wait for a guy to take a lunch/smoke break and find out if they do work on the side....maybe even post a Craigslist ad

|Goldcomet||You'll kill the resale with a repaint. Also factory paint holds up so much better in the long run. My wife backed into something with our 2012 Equinox and dented in the hatch. I didn't fix it because I don't want the paint to fade and peel in a few years. Your jeep looks great and the ideas the other people suggested about accenting are definitely the way to go. Try it. Most tape and striping is removeable so give it a try. It's also much cheaper in the long run.|

How about accenting the paint job via stripes or painted fenders, etc.
Your white looks really killer! However, Dozer is pretty nice too.

I love that white.. but it is a lot of white. I would consider maybe some Black Fenders.. I have used plastidip and it is good and bad, coated with some spray on bed liner it is nice and tuff but bed liner can still be removed easy. That being said It can be a real PITA to remove plastidip. I would look into some Black armor. But that is me I love white wranglers..
I think a nice black soft top would change it up a lot to..

To the OP... AYFKM?!
The white rubi is sick! If you like dozer that much... I feel any shade of orange goes great with both black and white. Time to start accenting!
Tint them hard top windows!
Sex change? More like ethnicity change

|Lowerumble||I like the idea of saving the cash and grabbing a new hood and decals with some other accents. What about just "10A"ing it out a little? Those red and black rubi style letters look good on the white. Here is a pic of my new RK sport hood too, if you are interested in anything a little different.|

I like how yours looks in white.
Dozer is a cool color, it was on my short list when I purchased....but painting your Jeep Dozer seems expensive...and it would probably hit the resale value a bit if you plan on trading it in. Maybe you should wait until the 2014's hit and take a look at the new Amp'd. Instead of paying to have it painted, you could use that cash and move to a 2014. I would think that your mods could be swapped over.

|Duke-TJ||That white Rubi looks great! I wouldn't change a thing.|

|jadmt||one way to find out go to the local body shop(s) and ask. I have never seen a better paint job then a factory paint job tho and I think the white is especially nice paint.|

|Lowerumble||8k for a wrangler? No way. I think I just saw a member on here that got a paint job for a couple of grand. He said something along the lines of the body shop being happy that a jeep was easy to take apart. Now obviously this isn't going to be a full repaint of interior, enexposed areas etc.|

|Triple_Black||I think it looks nice the color it is. What about doing Dozer accents? Like the previous poster mentioned, the hood, decals, maybe even the rims?|
|07-21-2013 07:57 AM|
|sr71||agreed 8k is conservative for a decent job.... if the color is really gnawing at you be better off all around to trade in|

Reading through most of the answers here....here is mine.
Replace the hood with an AEV or other aftermarket hood. Or paint it.
A guy in our local Jeep club has the American flag on his grill, it was a wrap and looks really good. Wrap the grill or paint a different color as an accent.
Go to a Frameless ST and sell the HT, (or store it) will also give you more options as far as looks and change the color.
As mentioned....Plasti Dip or paint your flares, or have them painted, or maybe trade for a set of OEM say someone who has regular ones and wants white.(or a little extreme) replace and save the white stock ones...maybe with some flat flares?
Switch doors to a "summer type" soft door, or half doors with uppers.
Bed line interior color of your choice.
So here we are...grill is no longer white, fenders are color of your choice and (easier to take off paint your self), top is now Black and gives you more options, hood is different color again of your choice, doors are again a different color, so basically all you have is extra parts that still match, and a Jeep with its "own look" and a few extra parts to put it back to original.
Bottom line the tub and tailgate are still white but it is now an accent...and you COULD get tailgate painted....to match the hood.
Cheaper than trading/ painting/ and easier to do a few changes at a time to change the looks to what you want....or at least closer to what you want.
Its not gonna be Dozer....but you have to decide how much Dozer means to you...your Jeep do it how you want!!!

|ohioviper||I dont normally like white but yours looks good to me.Those swampers make it look meaty .Perhaps take it up another notch and go storm trooper. White wheels and bumpers ect and tint those damn windows man.|

|david.w.johnson||I think plastidip would do wonders. Some black accents on a white Jeep look really good. Personally, I don't like the color coded fender flares. Too much. I like the contrast of the black. Same with the hard top. I think things like that would help you get closer to your Jeep and help save the color / marriage.|
|07-21-2013 02:07 AM|
|RKracing||I am concerned for/about you.... I am thinking that after 3-6 months you will tire of new color. I have seen plenty of folks go through that mode until they learn to be happy with what ever color that they have. I'd go to a custom paint shop and see what their idea's are to make it more you. Just a few accents will do wonders. Good luck with your choice...........Don't worry Be Happy|

No color change
Save yourself the headache, hassle and financial damage of repainting by trading in your jeep for a different color. Ultimately in the long run, you'll end up saving the excess amount of money needed to re prime, re paint and re spray.
As far as getting a sex change, well that's your call. But changing your gender because you're thinking about changing the paint color on your Jeep is fanatical and extreme. Instead of doing the pumping you'd rather be receiving the bumping? Whatever bud, lol I dont judge; it's your call.

|traitor08||Get a different jeep if you don't like white. It will be cheaper than to get a proper repainting. To get any guarantee on a paint job, you will have to go back to base, because if you spray over, you have to guarantee original paint which may or may not have a problem.|

I say Highlight your jeep with the color you like, say "Dozer". White is pretty much compatible with everything. It would save you money and trouble.

|TRAUMAhead||How about getting it wrapped or plastidipping it?|
|07-21-2013 01:06 AM|
|jrussblues||To properly re spray a jeep will cost a lot more in labor than trading it in for a new one. Most dealerships will work with you on transferring your mods to the new vehicle.|

I need your opinion on sex change!
Well, not really sex change, although to some it might be perceived this way. I ordered my 2013 WHITE JKR last October and I am 100% happy with everything my Wrangler has to offer. This is my second Wrangler and wouldn't drive anything else
However, I do believe I might have ordered the wrong color. The more I look at the dozer, the more I wish I had ordered a dozer. I am at the point where trading it in for a dozer is not an option because of the hassle, higher payments, etc. The only option I can bring myself to is, having my Wrangler re-sprayed with the color that makes my heart beat
My question to you is, have you had any experience re-spraying your brand new vehicle?? If so, how much did it cost you? Did you have any issues with the paint shop? Any and all input will be greatly appreciated. Here are few shots of my Wrangler.
