I'm just wondering if it's noisy while driving. Does it rattle? Also while driving with the top down, I wouldn't leave stuff unless I net it down but it might fly off? I might be able to mod it and bolt it on.

lol

With a commuter car I've been concious of keeping miles off the Jeep while making it worth it to pay insurance/prop tax on said car. Well, last week I decided that I'm tired of looking like an idiot (waiving at Jeeps from my Altima) and screw a few extra miles....time to sell the car. I love driving my Jeep!!

bobp It's one piece with tabs that sit on top of the roll bar. You can just make them out in the pics on ebay.

No other hardware or instructions so I guess the tight fit between the padding and the weight of what you attach is enough to hold it in place.

Going to help my Dad on an Elk hunt in mountains here in AZ and it's too damn cold with just the spiderwebshade. Oh well, I'll take it back off once I'm back in the valley the week after thanksgiving.

ArmyofMike Just hardwired a HF 750w inverter from under seat to battery.

...this inverter may have just changed my life!! I can now power my 1.5 HP electric chain saw while camping!!! My adventures if firewood gathering are forever changed!!! Haha!

I know off subject, but my son and I were so stoked to cut wood in the driveway this afternoon I had to share!!

Also, build some disco quick connects. They are obviously more loose than the bolts, and a little bit of sway in the steering is noticable, but not bad.

For @$12, it was a quick and cheap mod.

dvn4life1972 Heavy rain in SE Texas last night. Went to a friends house in the Davy Crockett National Forest, and the roads were good and muddy.

My jeep is bone stock, didn't do bad at all.

It's a trunk-mount amateur radio antenna mount (2m/70cm), probably MFJ, will have to check my receipts. I had it mounted on the inner tailgate lip but with the new hinge setup had to relocate it, deciding on the taillight guard, though it's maybe not optimal. Will reassess in the future!
