I would say cut off struts and weld on perches, adjustable control arms would be a good upgrade *I think*. You will be able to set your pinion angle once you weld in your brackets so decide what lift you want. I would also suggest calling ECGS and chat with Chase, he is very helpful.
With the 8.8 you will need a SYE to offset the offset pumpkin.

YJ to TJ Axle Swap
So here's the situation. I have the stock D30/D35 on my tj and my buddy is going full width on his yj. He said he'll sell me his axles for $800. He has a D30 front with an arb locker and chromoly shafts. The rear is a ford 8.8 LSD both are geared at 4.88. What would be the best way to swap these in? I know that I will need to grind off all the brackets. I was thinking of getting artec truss for both. Also would I need aftermarket control arms and an sye/cv shaft? The only reason I'm asking is because its coming from a YJ
