stillcrazydave I say get a map at the Big Bear Vsitor Center and go for it. Just bring a decent spotter and have rock sliders at the minimum. Wife got back today from BB. We will head back up in a few weeks.

I'm thinking a weekend in August but again I just came up with this plan. So I am completely open to suggestions from anyone. So far my idea was to travel Friday & meeting up with those who are traveling to attend. If we get enough people attending I will call around and see if I can get some discounted rooms.
Saturday trails in the bright & early morning then maybe some and night depending on the crowd & experience of spotters.

Sunday maybe one early morning trail and traveling home by noon?

Again open to ideas lol

O it looks awesome! I've read that those are two of the harder trails. Do you think I could get in contact with them and ask them some questions about the area?

Cheers,
Mike

I am currently posting in CA threads and forums to find us a local that can show us the entrances and routes to take.
If anybody has any interest in joining post here and we can try and get some dates and planning started. Hoping for Aug. but depends on our trail guide.
