minisaba The tundra was only there because Toyota dumped a lot of money to have the shuttle walk it.

In all honesty the 1500 and f150 are great trucks. If you want them to tow your jeep i would personally recommend a 3/4 ton truck or 1 ton.
But the Tundra will tow a full size 737 airplane and it will do it without a driveshaft, so who needs a 3/4 or a 1 ton............
So you Ford and Chevrolet lovers, put that one in your pipe and smoke it..................

Na, the tundra is the ugliest truck of them all and cheaply built interior. Should have gone GM OR Ford 4 door then maybe we would have ooogled. My F150 Platinum SCREW 4X4 6.2L would have put that thing to shame in looks and speed. My JKU RUBI looks far better and is much more fun.

rumor has it that the F150 is going to a unibody design, that will definitly put them in the "no longer a real truck" class.

I'll be getting a full sized truck pretty much the day the Jeep is paid off. It will probably be an F150. Of course, keeping the Jeep.

Gotta expect that when he posts a thread like this in a Jeep forum, it's not going to sit right with a few. Even the title is antagonistic.

Besides, I've heard terrible things about the Tundra. Don't know if they've fixed the issues, but I have a few friends that are mechanics and they all agree that the Tundras are junk. I think they were talking about 03-06 or around those years. No idea about the newer ones. I'll have to ask.

Plus, I can see trading in an older Jeep for something else. A '12 though? That's a complete waste of money on top of it all.

Bacon grease? I guess you'd have a lot of grease left over. That is, if you're living in a van DOWN BY THE RIVER!

Nice. Can you get it with a three-point hitch so I can use it to plow and till? I might have to trade in the JK if you can......

jadmt please post a photo showing the missing drive shaft to the rear differential.

Not hating on Tundras because I would buy one but still need to see the missing drive shaft to the rear diff.

GCDMD The only thing that would make this thread better was if the OP bought a subaru legacy and that was going to be his snow plow.
