KBR97 according to the article it was barely living and when it died they cut it up in pieces for research.

Pretty cool that things that big are so close to land. Not to long ago researchers heard the sounds on their equipment from a GIANT blue whale that followed the jersey shore up to long island and then went out to sea.

i bet a nylon tow strap would have been a little more comfortable for him, rather than that chain. apparently the "tow rig" was not jeep

Check out what washed up on a local beach over here....A barely living 26 ft. Basking Shark

There harmless though, diet is plankton, like a whale. But its still pretty crazy, looks like Jaws washed up on the beach!!!
