I too share this great day with a legend. Plus just got my Jeep TJ inspected.
My inspector said" I know there is an exhaust leak on it somewhere. I can't find it but it sounds like there is one"
My reply "It passed tho right? If you can't find it(the leak) it still passes?"
"Yes. Maybe next year."

Saw the blurb on the U.S. Army Facebook today
"On this day in 1941, PARADE Magazine devoted three pages to what it called "the #USArmy's most intriguing new gadget." It was the American public's first introduction to the jeep.
