Thanks man, not my first choice on wheels either but the thing I like about them is all the YJ's around here run cragars, mickey thompsons, or pacers so it kinda sets mine apart....I like being different.
And as far as the clearance issue, they rub a little only when I turn all the way to left. So I can deal with it for now until I save up my parts for my SOA swap.

How many miles??? I don't think the 33s are to blame. The 2.5L dies need some help.
Re-gear from 4:10 to 4:88 and it will be just fine. But before you put money in the D35 look for an 8.8 get it geared and then swap.
I just got my duffs back from the shop master kit, gears and lockers. Front is in and complete.
Rear still needs to be removed and mock up weld and finish the 8.8. Sitting on my butt tired sore and resting too hot right now. It's not a DD so no hurry.
I found a spare D30 and an 8.8 on CL snapped em up and them rebuilt at Adams Driveshaft here in NV. Lucky I live close by.
The D30 was $100 and the 8.8 was $200.
You can still run the 33s until you are ready for the swap that way you have some time to keep driving it and then figure out a good time to swap.
Parts are available and many good threads on the 8.8 install. Research it all out make a plan save some bucks.

|DocRooster89||I am having my '89 2.5L rebuilt right now and my guy told me that my engine is pretty worn out from running 33x12.5s. Even though it never overheated with them or anything like that, you might want to get some advice about doing the switch and whether or not you need to upgrade your axles or gear ratios or w/e before you go through with it.|

|skinnywateryj||I gotcha. Sweet, yeah they were on a TJ Wrangler so the lug pattern is the same. The tires are only a month or 2 old so hopefully they will last me a good year or 2 at least.|

The size actually figures out at 32.1 x 10.1/ 18 and actual height should be slightly less. The biggest factor is going to be the backspacing on the rims. Make sure your bolt pattern is correct. I would test fit before I accepted the deal. The height should not be a factor with your two inch BL if your not flexing much and mainly use it as a DD.
It's nice when you get a good deal on equipment when someone owes you money, that's how I got my first Jeep a '73 Cj-5, but think about what you'll have to invest in it. The larger rim diameters tend to increase the price of replacement tires, so they may cost you more in the future over what you would pay for, let's say, 15's. Just a thought.

Am I going to have a problem with these tires?
I have a 1990 YJ with a 2" body lift running 30"x9.5r15 AT tires. Got a guy that owes me money & has offered me a set of wheels & tires to settle his score. They are 275/65/18 MT, he says they measure out at like 32.7" in height. Will I have an issue running these? This is my daily driver I don't really play in it much right now so not being able to flex is not a big deal at this time.
I will be doing a SOA lift later down the road but I need to know if this will work for now.
