Saint101 You can undo the clip and you will have slack to move it. I have 6in Bushwackers on my Jeep.
I just put the 29 on the jeep rims.

Stupid question about Fender Flares

HI Guys,

I recently bought a set of tires and wheels from JC Whitney for my 99. It was one fo those deals where they arrive mounted and balanced. They're by no means giant tires, they're only 29's. It was a good deal and I'm really not sure about a lift so they'll due for now. I put one on over the weekend but because it's a dufferent style from the stock wheels, these hang out past the stock fender flares by a good 3 - 4 inches. Not wanting to risk a ticket from our local and state money hungry officials, I put the stock wheels back on and ordered a set of Bushwacker extend-a-fender flares.'s the stupid question...I was poking around under the front fenders today and it doesn't look like there is an awful lot of slack wire for the outside directional (which will have to be moved to the new flare). So has anyone added new wider flares and if so, will I have to rewire these or will they fit as is? Also, if I do need to rewire, could you offer some tips?

Thanks for the help!
