Very good day, had a nice early Christmas with the in laws. They are heading to Florida tomorrow, motorhome is all loaded up and the JK is hitched up.

I think I need new shocks but I'll live with the harsh ride until I get a new top, Aussie locker in front, and replace my rear axle to go to 35's. Future brother-in-law is selling almost new 35" mud boggers on nice rims for $700. Really think I need them even though everyone says not to run 35" tires on the D35 axle...

If I upgrade to 5.5 I'll be doing 35's.

You're installing an 8.8 or you're getting new wheels/tires or both? My 33's are within 6 months of needing to be replaced and I don't think I can get a better deal than this. I think he said he paid $300/each for the tires and his Jeeps only been out a half dozen times in the last 2 years while he's been stretching and building/rebuilding it.

The club I'm in has about an equal number of social and trail riding events. Members can pick and choose which events they want to do and how involved they want to be. We have 250ish members and will have about 100 show up for social events and 10-25 show up for trail riding events depending where they are and how tough the trails are.

No sushi. I've had it once. Wasn't a fan. How could you possibly go wrong with a place called the Keg Mansion. Sounds like my kind of place.
