PJM86 Got my Outlaw mirrors from Quadratec. Put them on this weekend. Very cool. I will still probably buy a set of convex mirrors to attach, but they look and work great. Here is a pic.

JPCoffey OK I have been lurking long enough, time to start contributing. For the record, I have a 2013 JK Unlimited with the Bestop Trektop NX. So far everything else is still factory (again, so far...).

I also ride without my doors on and I am used to using a competent set of mirrors. Since the removal of the doors I have been using a pair of Rugged Ridge quick release mirrors. A motorcycle mirror but it meets the needs of the California law and was cheap until I can find a more useful product. Suffice it to say that I am not really satisfied with the size or adjustability of the mirror. But I do love its' mounting location.

So, here is my question...
Why cant someone build a mount that relocates the factory mirrors to the upper two bolts on the A-pillar. This is the same mounting point as the Rugged Ridge unit. It would provide a competent, adjustable mirror without blocking the view of the mirror. It appears that the A-pillar should be able to handle the weight/torque of the assembly.

Thanks for listening.

Y-Guy I went with a set of OEM replacement mirrors I got off of eBay for about $65 and the Die-Tech mounts.

Good discussion and pictures on this thread: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/die...rs-217991.html

Lange quick release II or Outlaw Mirrors for riding with doors off? Other mirrors recommended? It's the law in MD.
