SASA-1 kool, yeah i have a heavy right foot. used to drive big V8's and diesel trucks. thanks for the suggestions!

Geoff@Bestop I like tht engine choice. thought of doing that myself once. D44 or not depends more on your driving style and tire size. I'm used to rocks, and climbing can tear stuff up. Not sure about sand. but if you use the right foot a lot, gte the big axles.

SASA-1 sweet, thanks for the info guys! I'll post pics as i progress with the build up... 4.3L Vortec swap, prob AX-15 5 speed, currently running stock 4banger with AX-5 trans. 5-6 inch suspension, any suggestions? wanna build for mild trail and sand mostly. should i beef up stock axles or go for the D44 swap? Jeep is gonna be my daily driver for work and weekend toy.

RAGMAN looks darn near identical to mine, i just put a 2.5'' rough country on mine.. from the space between the fender and top of tire looks to be around a 2 or 2.5 inch lift
(post the close ups and im sure distorted will be able to tell for certain..)

looks good SASA

distortedtj Welcome to the forum bud. Looks as you may have some lift "smaller one" but to confirm we'll need picture of the suspension...control arms. springs and so on.

Get us some of those pic and we'll help you out.
