Here's my stock suspension X with 31x10.5r15 TreadWright MT Ultra tires on stock rims.
I have had absolutely no problems with clearance.

If you can find a set of Rubi rims, they have 5" backspacing and can run 10.5's with no rubbing I think. They're also 16" rims.
Anyone who can confirm any of the above, feel free. This is just what I've found while researching the same issue.

|Cory||I have 31x10.50 bfg a/t on my 2000 tj and they only rub when you turn as far as you can, and its not bad. I will run them again.|

|dylan||These look so much better than stock.. Are there any issues at all with running 31" on the stock suspension? Its probably not big enough of a difference to necessitate regearing or anything, is it? I have a 2005 Unlimited if that helps. Dana 44 in the rear, Dana 35 up front I believe.|
