02sporttj Steffen, I had mine matched at the CB Radio Store in Fontana. Phone number is 909-428-0340. They install and do good work. Great people to work with too. They get very busy with dealer and big rig installs so if they sound good call to make appointment.

If you haven't taken care of that installation yet, I can recommend the mobile CB repair at the Pilot Truck Stop in Oak Hills (where the 15 & 395 intersect). He is reasonably priced and does good work. He works out of a converted milk truck and can be found in the parking lot Tuesday thru Friday. He usually has a yellow flashing light on the top of his truck making him easy to find. Whoever installs it for you, make sure you get the antenna "matched" in for the best results. Good luck.

DTM For best results, the power should come directly from the battery. Also make sure you have a really good ground.

YjKalamity Wiring them up is actually very easy. I picked up an add-a-fuse from O'Reilly for my power wire and wired it directly to my glove box. For my ground I found a small hole by the door, sanded it down, and wired it there.

DTM Give Jeep Performance Inc (JPI) a try. It will be a little bit of a drive but I'm sure you will be very pleased. 909 795-8998

Hi All,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a place in the Corona/Riverside area that can install a CB radio in my Jeep? I can install the antenna, K4A and mount, but I will need assistance with the proper wiring, power connection and SWR tuning.
