cbking I paid 11,000 for a 2002 with 58,000 miles on it clean two owner vehicle. It has only be driven in two MN winters so hardly any rust.

Wrangler339 I picked up a stock 06 at 36,000 for 14,000 that's def high, especially with no mods done at all

MarkGLHS I would not offer more than 10% above NADA/KBB on a Rubicon w/ that mileage.

There's no specific major issues with this model/year, just the typical used vehicle stuff to check for/road test/inspect for frame and tub rust, etc.

Mjtorr Also what should I look for when inspecting and are there any known major issues with this year? Thank you

Mjtorr Bone stock. Saw it at the dealer so I'm sure theres room for negotiation. Do you think I should start at $10,000 and see what they come back with?

SuperTJ Seems high does it have any accessories? Maybe they are priced for negotiation room? Dealer or private seller?

Mjtorr Just checked KBB. They price it at $10,945 in excellent condition. Seems about right. I feel more comfortable in that range.

mudmagnet63 I paid $12500 for my 02 with 125 k not a Rubi though. I have seen them priced close to that here. offer $12K ya never know

louczar That price is high for the year / mileage. Did you look it up on KBB or Edmunds to get an idea of the value?

Buying my first Jeep. Need advice

Hello everyone. I've been browsing this forum for a while now. Originally planned on getting a JK but given my current finances I've been thinking about a TJ. Today I test drove a 2003 Rubicon auto with 160,000 miles priced at $14,000. The Jeep was in great condition. I drive about 30 miles a day and this will be my daily driver. My question is do you think this is a good deal. I've searched around but I'm really set on this Jeep. Also I am concerned the miles are a bit high. Any advice is good advice. Thank you ok advance
