My local Discount tire store matches their warehouse price. The price went up to $130 a tire in the last week. I can buy them direct from the warehouse and get free shipping. I have another local tire shop that will mount and balance for $60 if I pay cash ($80 if I use check or CC). Cash is tight with buying the Jeep and doing all the maintenance work since getting it. The tires that are on it are over sized mud and rub. They are very worn (not bald) and cupped since the previous owner never bothered to rotate them. I don't want to wait too long to replace them. The wife is not happy the price is up and wants to wait longer before replacing them. Sure are lots of deals out there of newer wrangler rims and tires people have removed to upgrade. I dont know if the newer rims lug pattern is the same as his. Most of the tires are a little taller too. Not sure if I want bigger tires on there for him either.
Where are you in Texas?! I'm in Dallas and I've been running some 31 AT's and recently upgraded to some 33" MTR's. My AT's still have good tread life too, I just wanted bigger

Tire prices went up :-(

I'm a fan of BFG AT and Yokohama Geolander AT tires. I've run both on all my 4WD vehicles for the last 14 years.

I had priced the Yokohama's from discount tire direct for my sons jeep going back to the OEM size of 215/75/15. I priced them at 121.00 a tire last week.
