GoldenSahara00 If you have plans of changing axles, lift height, tire size, etc, do that first, as they will all change your shock setup when doing this. I've been holding off on this mod as well until I get my front axle done and purchase my tires and build my fenders so I can dial in my shock travel and mounting points perfect. It's definitely a worthwhile mod though.

jeepwayoflife Got a pic? I would guess its for better shock clearance, being able to use a longer shock for more travel, or better geometry on a custom suspension.

Shock mounts on out side of frame?

Ive seen pictures of jeeps flexing and seen the rear shock mounted on the outside of the frame. I just wanted to know more about this benefit and if its something I would be interested in doing.
