Tanner505 That's how I've checked it but it seems to read differently each time

keycat02 I check mine while the engine is running and the transmission pump operating. Without the pump running, the fluid will run back into the transmission from the cooler and make it read high.

Tanner505 I kno how to check it that way I'm just wondering if that's the most accurate way to do it with a aftermarket trans cooler

D_Vail The dipstick? On my 2013 it's under the plastic engine cover on the back left.

What's the best method of checking transmission fluid with a auxiliary cooler installed.
