As far as the lift and tires I don't think it is too large. I will be doing a 3.5 inch lift and 33s here shortly. However I do have other vehicles I can drive.

haha it's quite alright. I have those days too. But I did get confirmation from the dealer that it has a factory installed tow package which automatically includes the better dana 44 rear axle correct?
Do you recommend this lift and set up though or would you have gotten a smaller lift and wheel set?

You are correct, it is a d30 in the front, I just noticed I kept typing d30 for the rear. Worked a 12 hour day and I am tired, it messed me up.
You could have either a d35 in the rear which is the most common, or a d44 depending upon options. A tow package installed by the factory would have got a d44 and 3.73 gears or it could have been done as an option by the buyer if they were ordering, etc.
My 05 sport has a d44 with 3.73s.

|bighair313||Correct if I'm wrong but I thought the front axle was a dana 30 and the rear was a dana 35 on non rubicon models|

I wouldn't have an issue daily driving it, but expect the mileage to be worse than with a stock Jeep (which isn't great to begin with).

|bighair313||What do you mean by what else is installed with the lift?|

|njkeagle||That's a clean looking Jeep. I would negotiate the price big time. I paid about 20K for mine but with no lift, 06 Golden Eagle with a rear Dana 44 with LSD. Also you need to find out what's installed with the lift.|

|4Jeepn||you can get 09 x's models here for $19,770 from one near by, though my sister in law is making a long drive for one she found for 18,900....|

|bighair313||Well the dealer told me they where stock axles so I'm guessing they aren't the dana 44's. Do you guy's have an opinion of the 4'' lift and 33'' tires being to large for a daily driver and/or being just to big in general for a jeep wrangler?|

|InfernoGirl||Hi, No input on the mods, but it sounds cool! I really just like your username! Made me smile!|

|bighair313||Ohh yeahh the price is something I'd definetly negotiate. I was looking for more of some opinions on the mods that are installed on the Jeep, and if they are alright for being a daily driver and to have fun with out on the dunes mostly.|

|SpeedJunkie||I paid 15k for an 05 sport with a 4.0, dana 44 rear with 3.73s, soundbar and subwoofer, trailer hitch, 31inch all terrain tires, and with 32k miles on it about a month ago. Was a little more than I wanted to spend but had options I wanted and low enough miles. Dealer purchase as well. They were asking 16995 for it.|

|dylan||Some other guys can give you a better idea of a ballpark price for the mods and everything, but for reference, I just paid $14,200 before taxes for a 2005 Sport Unlimited with 40k miles, 6 speed, 4.0 liter. It's fully loaded, has every single option available. That was a dealer purchase.|

Jeep Advice Before Purchase
Hey I've been looking for awhile around my local area for a 2006 wrangler thats equipped with a stick trans, fairly low miles, and has the 4.0L I6. I have found one with 48,000 miles, sport model, listed at $17,995, and some mods thats consist of: 4'' pro comp suspension lift, 33'' all terrain pro comp tires, pro comp wheels, pro comp es3000 shocks all around, and an es2000 steering stabilizer. The Jeep itself looks great and the interior looks like it just came off the factory floor. I'm not going to be beating the crap out of it, just the occasional dunes and trail driving. Nothing hardcore. It will be my daily driver as well since right now I only have my yamaha zuma 125.
Your thoughts on the Jeep are appreciated
