Dougzin How's it goin folks? Been MIA recently, you know girlfriends do that to you. Been sorta busy with the Mini instead of the Jeep. New exhaust (Borla) and a few other knick knacks. Got my jeeps death wobble cured and I'm all ready for Hammers wheeling very soon!

Gunner Hahahaha where was the most liquid. Inside you guys or in the lake?

Well I found out just how good my armor works. I went to the dealer for my 15000 service today. Lo and behold they call me back to show me that they can't change my oil. Why? Because my ORE oil pan armor had a dent right where the oil plug goes. It was just enough that they couldn't get the last few threads out. I will post a picture of it. It saved my oil pan from a huge leak on the trail. Is armor worth the bucks Oh Yeah.

Lab Lover Ahhh, made it home, got the boat safely tucked away in the garage, motorhome cleaned and emptied out. We had a great time, as we always do with our crowd.

I can pretty much sum up the weekend by saying, "Fireball"

Sooooo it looks like there are a set of shocks in my future. What to do with the old ones. Trash em or sell them cheap. They can be converted to remotes with the kit. Time for some longer travel stuff.

Bob I can't speak for what RK uses for their coilovers but i really really REALLY like the way my kings handle on and off road.

They will fully allow you to go faster thru rougher terrain... Which basically means you'll end up breakin more shit... But it's worth it!!

My old fox ressi shocks were great, my new king coilovers are f$&%#* AWESOME!

Look on pirate4x4 for their 3 and 4 link calculator, works well
Get your anti squad between 70 to 100% try for 0 degrees roll center and your Limo should work like a champ

They keep the factory geometry and just beef the driverside mount/link up since it uses the housing On the riverside. It's very simple and works really good for them

They delete the upper link on the passenger side, and beef up the frame side mount on the driver side use Johnny joints at all the ends.

The only coilovers worth considering, King or Fox, for us King is the bomb, since you can drive to Garden Grove and swap springs till you have the ride height riight. Since your bud Stan is going do the work ditch the RK crap and have him built the stuff, after you gigure out how much up and down travel you want.
By the way for 12" travel stick with your coil springs. 14' Coilovers done right are sweet
