Tomdata Check out the vision x light cannons. 4.5" led. Super bright, only use 25watts

M_FN_K_LJ Sorry it has taken so long for me to update on this. As of yet I haven't done anything. I have contacted Hella and done a bit more research as well and I have changed my mind entirely.

I decided that the 8 inch Hella's are just too big for the windshield mounts, and the compacts have to be bought in pieces which is kinda of a pain. Also I wanted Euro beams because of the light spread which they don't offer in a compact.

KC has since come out with some HID lights with internal ballasts which are bright as hell and considerably cheaper than the Hella lights are. They also come in 6 and 8 inch size. I'm going to get some of the 8 in for the bumper and 6 in for the windshield.
They are the 851 and 640 Pro Sport lights.

I have the 4000's in full size on my bumper, all I can say is WOW!
Looks like the are on sale too!
I have four of these on my '98 with 100w bulbs. (Didn't know which model they were until now) and they're super bright

So my thought then to keep things the same would be to change the Slimlights out for some Hellas. HOWEVER, I have not seen any Jeeps with the 8" Hella lights on the windshield. I think they will be a bit big in that location. Hella makes a compact version that is 6" round, but only inthe pencil beam. Thoughts? Comments? Pics?
Did yoy ever follow thru with this? Did you use the "required" harness?
