Throw a winch on that top pic, and it would look exactly like mine. The 2" OME lift is barely noticeable.

RufBoy I saw a stock 95 YJ today in the parking lot a work. I stopped and talked to the guy that owned it. He bought it new in 1995 and hasn't done anything to it but oil changes, brakes and tires. It was a little rough which is expected in New Hampshire, but he said he's never had any mechanical issues with it other than the regular wear and tear. I love the fact that even when one is in rough condition, the owner is always happy as hell to show it off. It's definitely a "Jeep Thing"!

Surfinglbi23 Nice man, those stock YJ pics are so sweet!

Denverdude2012 Im doing a similar thing, PO put huge wheels on (and destroyed the rear axle in the process), did a horrible job of spray painting the interior black. I have a 98 Cherokee so I got a set of the same fact. wheels. Only difference will be from making it totally factory will be the front/rear bumper, paint scheme, and seats. Because of emissions around here also had to rebuild the engine compartment back to factory specs. A lot of people i worjk with ask me why Im not lifting it and modifying it, I have the 98 cherokee to do that this is my around town/to from work in the snow when the wife wants to use the cherokee vehicle.

harleydragon there is a dude in Maine or somewhere in that area of yankee land that I buy some parts from on ebay that probably has it.he parts out a good many jeeps at pretty good prices.even if he doesn't have it listed,he probably has it.I can't remember his name off the top of my head but can look it up if you want to ask him
08-23-2013 07:57 AM
87 Florida YJ Only kidding brother. For the time being BB still belongs to you and Junelle.

It seems like there is a fortune to be made parting out these old girls. The best price i could find for little piece of nothing for the horn on the net was twenty five bucks. Wish I had a hundred of them.

calm down Louisville Slugger..BadBoy is actually the last one that I would want to go but I do have another cj7 with full chevy running gear,a 88 yj,6 cyl,5 spd that is stone stock and a 91 yj,4.0,auto,SOA that I would let go..both the yj's have hardtops and full hard doors..I also hoard parts just so I have a selection when I start working on something but much of it is crap such as carpet sets, etc that I took out of jeeps and have no intention of using myself
