Soon to Be Rubicon Owner
I know real Jeeps are built and not bought; but I just ordered a 2014 2-door Rubicon that's shamelessly loaded with auto, 430n radio, leather, power, three-piece freedom top, etc. I'm trying to use some restraint and not fly into buying more stuff before I even get it. I'm thinking maybe I should keep it pretty stock and trade it in for the redesigned 205 or 2016 Wrangler with the long overdue diesel if ma Mopar gets with it.
My current 4x4 is a 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser built for overlanding; I'm going to a 2-door Rubicon for better approach, departure and breakover angles and even better off road ability.
I've been bouncing around everybody elses Jeep since I was a teenager, I look foward to having a Jeep that's refined and capable and maybe quiet enough to carry on a conversation at 65 mph.
By the way, I ordered my Rubicon through Costco's participating dealer and I'm getting it for $1,200 below dealer invoice.
