louczar I agree with you. I cant speak for the clutch in the jeep, but I say the same thing when I buy new brake pads for my other vehicles and the auto parts store suggests I buy the ceramic pads. I have no performance vehicles and always put stock replacement items back on them.

Slater451 I agree !!! I have a 2.4. And if it had any real power I could justify a performace clutch. But the stock style does just fine!!

R u s s Stay with a stock style clutch. The performance clutches are more grabby and the issue I have with them them last about half as long and seem to waste the flywheel surface. The ceramic pads on the clutch look great but they damage the flywheel. Thats my experience with performance clutches

2.4L Clutch opinions

Needing to get a new clutch, looking to go aftermarket for better performance and durability. What is y'all's opinions on brands or what stage I should get?
