jokerchief462 Take it you can have it blasted and powder coated or grind her down yourself.

Get some rust converter and a spray bomb. Couple hours of work and should be good once complete you know how to do anything else rusted.

I have. 2012 Wrangler and all but one of my skid plats already have rust. Rust on a skid plate means nothing because a skid plate is a isolated piece of metal under the jeep, it doesn't effect the frame at all. Its rusted because its been used, which is expected on a vehicle that sees any form of off road use. You can clean it up if you want or just replace it, a lot of people replace their stock skids anyway.

I am buying a 2000 jeep wrangler with 148000 miles. Eberything looks good but the skid plate in the back is pretty rusted. What does that mean
