4Jeepn Had my Mc go out years ago, but I want to say some seal of some kind on the fire wall end. Other things, pin hole leak(s) in brake lines along frame.

iron1980cross It's a 74 cj5 4.2 ,I've gone through 2 huge bottles of brake fluid. No leaks....and no air coming out. They're drum brakes...I want to put disc on it ...but the wife says I've spent too much already..ha ha ha ,Just wait till I catch her looking @ another pair of shoes!

4Jeepn what year? Drum all around or disc and drums? You might just have a ton of air in it. Any signs of leaks?

Brake problems now....?

Hey guys,
I have been working on the jeep again....so yes this means I tore up more than I fixed. I got to drive it several times and started to notice shifting problems, So.....200 bucks later , I rebuilt the trans and the transfer case....geez!. Got it back together....drove it down the driveway....and kablam! I forgot to tighten one of the straps on the driveline.....Goodbye exhaust!
Oh well, I needed to make a new one anyway...Got the driveline fixed....and now I need brake help...I have bled these brakes , put self adjusters, new cylinders, new pads , and still the same problem....all the way to the floor. The right front catches after pumping several times ( it's soooo freaking scary to drive) What am I doing wrong? I'm sure someone can give me and idea.
Thanks guys,
Iron
